- 1 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons of cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons of kosher salt
- 2 diced carrots
- 1 diced yellow onion
- 2 pounds of ground chicken
- Two 15.5-ounce cans of cannellini beans rinsed and drained
- One 14-ounce can of diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons of hot sauce
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1/4 cup of chopped pickles for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Spiced Oil
- In a small saucepan, combine the following:
- Cooking oil
- 1 tsp salt
- Cayenne pepper
- Brown sugar
- Paprika
- Garlic powder
- Warm over low heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oil is infused with the spices.
- Set aside.
Step 2: Sauté the Vegetables

- Add 1/4 cup of the prepared spiced oil.
