Instructions
Step 1: Sauté garlic and shallots
- Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode.
- Add olive oil and butter.
- Once melted, add chopped garlic and shallots.
- Sauté for a few minutes until tender and fragrant.
Step 2: Add wine
- Pour in the wine and stir for an additional minute to enhance the aroma.

Step 3: Add half of the broth
- Pour in half of the broth and scrape any brown bits from the bottom of the pot.
Step 4: Add pasta
- Break the angel hair pasta in half and layer it in a criss-cross pattern inside the Instant Pot. This prevents the pasta from clumping together.

Step 6: Add red pepper flakes and shrimp
- Sprinkle red pepper flakes over the pasta.
- Arrange the frozen shrimp on top of the pasta.
- Season with a pinch of salt.
Step 7: Pressure cook
- Secure the lid on the Instant Pot.
- Set the Instant Pot to Manual or Pressure Cook for zero minutes (yes, really!).
- The cooking time is so short that by the time the pressure cooker comes to pressure, the pasta and shrimp will be perfectly cooked.
